The online Master of Business Administration at the University of Central Oklahoma is a professional program that uniquely positions students for global career success. The UCO MBA Online meets the demands of today’s working professionals. The program is designed for students who desire the flexibility of online courses, personal care from the faculty and staff, and networking opportunities online and in person. UCO MBA Online students learn to combine the requisite theoretical and practical knowledge to develop the leadership and management skills for today’s business world.
The online Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Library Media Education meets the requirements set forth by the Oklahoma State Department of Education for standard certification as a School Library Media Specialist for grades PK-12. Upon completion of this specialized program, students will have developed a theoretical, philosophical and practical knowledge base and prescribed competencies upon which to enter the common school, private school, and other institutional job markets in school librarianship. In addition to earning their M.Ed., students will also have the opportunity to complete the Oklahoma School Library Media Specialist Certification.

The UCO MPA - Urban Management track promotes an emphasis on urban management, sustainability, urban planning and policy, emergency management and sustainable economic development.

The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree will help to provide for the increasing global need of health care practitioners with expanded nursing knowledge. The degree is available to students who have completed a traditional baccalaureate degree in nursing and to Career Advancement students who have an associate degree in nursing who would like to pursue a master's degree. The MSN is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
The RN to B.S. in Nursing track at UCO is available online for RNs who are interested in furthering their nursing education. Upon successful completion, nurses will have earned a Bachelors of Science degree.

Step 1. Email transcripts from each college/university you have attended to Lindsay Berry, the academic adviser for Nursing, as soon as possible to determine what courses you may need to take prior to application or acceptance.
Step 2. Once notified of required courses by the Academic Advisor, submit your application to UCO.
Step 3. Once you have completed Step 1 and 2, submit UCO RN to BS Nursing Application prior to the preference date or final application date.
The Online Applied Liberal Arts program is a unique, interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts degree which brings together a solid grounding in the Liberal Arts, select courses specifically pertinent to the business world, and the ability complete a concentration in a wide-ranging selection of humanities, math, science, fine arts, and social sciences disciplines. This field of study offers students both academic rigor and the ability to combine theoretical understanding with “real-world” experiences and flexible areas of focus. An Applied Liberal Arts graduate will be prepared for a variety of career opportunities.
The Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Human Resource Management (HRM) online program prepares students in areas of employee relations, compensation and benefits, and recruiting. The program curriculum is aligned with the standards of the largest professional body – the Society of Human Resource Management – in the world of work. Due to this, students selecting HRM as a major prepare to be functionally capable of taking on a generalist role, performing the core HR functions on the job, in any organization.
A Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Central Oklahoma will provide a dynamic learning environment where students develop a personal lifelong learning strategy. The marketing program equips our students with the intellectual and professional knowledge, and skills necessary for marketing and business positions in the regional, national and global marketplace. Students are prepared for visible marketing functions such as advertising, sales promotion, publicity, merchandising and transportation, as well as the less-visible functions like strategic planning, market research, new product and new market development, branding and forecasting.
Adult Degree Completion Programs
While all Connected Campus programs offer flexibility for working adults, these programs are particularly ideal for adults who have earned prior college credits and want to complete their degree.
The Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business from the UCO College of Business provides a broad business education, ideal for students returning to finish their college degree or who don’t have a preference or need for a specific business major.
Students can select courses in accounting, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, information systems and operations management, international business, legal studies, management and marketing. This program prepares students to succeed in a variety of business-related industries.
The Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership is offered through Reach Higher, Oklahoma’s flexible adult degree completion program. Students will learn about professional communication, leadership, management and ethics, and choose an area of focus in either Supervision or Global Citizenship. Students graduate prepared to succeed in a broad array of industries.
The Bachelor of Science in General Studies is ideal for students returning to college to complete their degree and students who have earned credits in several disciplines and are close to earning the number of credits needed to graduate. Students choose classes across Central’s five academic colleges: Business, Education and Professional Studies, Fine Arts and Design, Liberal Arts and Mathematics and Science.
